Common questions

So are you are real vet?

Yes I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (equivalent of an American DVM). I then traveled to America for further training in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Are you a physiotherapist?

No- to become qualified I would need to do study on humans which is one ick and two take up too much time.

I am a Certified Canine rehabilitation Therapist through the Canine Rehabilitation institute in America.

This course by both the leaders in canine physiotherapy and rehabilitaion in the entire world from the physiotherapy and veterinary stream. The combined program gave me a well rounded education that is not offered elsewhere on dogs.

I am also half way through a Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine which covers dogs and horses.

These courses have allowed me to apply my skills to many different species to offer them the same high level of care available to dogs and horses.
